This is a telephone interview with Kathy, a retired school teacher who lived in St. Bernard Parish, one of the hardest hit areas around New Orleans. She was a homeowner who had just paid off her house before it was damaged by the floods. She now has another house about 30 miles away and is trying to figure out what to do with her home in St. Bernard Parish. She is too afraid to go back and does not trust anyone's representations.
